Demo Saves Good With Retail Game?

If you start a game using the demo, can you import the saved character into the final retail game? I'm getting it tomorrow, and have the demo now, I'm just wondering if I can start the demo in earnest, and transfer my game to the boxed version.

Any info is appreciated.

Im sure you have it and know this by now , but for those that dont.

You cant use save games from the demo!
