To get free party slots go into a (party mode) multiplayer game with your main character and 2 other chars then save it and exit DS2. Go into folder:
My Documents/My Games/Dungeon Siege 2/Saves/Multiplayer,
copy your chars folder name to:
My Documents/My Games/Dungeon Siege 2/Saves/Singleplayer,
(as long as there are no chars with the same name in single player already)
And BOOM!! When you go back onto DS2 singleplayer (go into singleplayer dont press continue) you can dispand the other party chars and you wont have to pay for the other 2 partys, in saying this you have to pay for atleast 1 because you need to recruit them in singleplayer to be able to get them in multiplayer. Im pretty sure this works.
