A strange save problem

Here we go.

I Have a single player character, he's a version 2.20.

But here's the catch.

I play LAN with my friends, the game is updated to 2.20 but the no-cd is for 2.0.

So basically we have version 2.20 characters running on version 2.0.

So I can't import my single player 2.20 character into the game for that reason I guess.

I've got the no-cd for 2.20 but that doesn't help. Neither version game saves can see each other. For instance my LAN characters can't be seen in the multiplayer for the 2.20 game, and vice versa.

I've tried the All_saves mod, it doesn't work. Well should say it almost loads my single player guy into the LAN game but then errors right at the end. I have no mods on my game at all. He's a straight forward non cheating non-modded character. I've tried v2 also and it doesn't show anything.

I've tried the DS2 editor for characters hit that 2.2->2.0 and still nothing. I'm out of ideas. I wonder if this is a first. Any help would be appreciated.

If you need more details or what not let me now.

Also can't use these saves that we have been playing on LAN for BW since they are like 2.2>2.0 saves, it's like not consistent.
