3 DS 2 Questions *Possible Spoilers*

I have been through the demo once and the retail version twice up to Act II Chapter 8 and I have never found book 2. Where is book 2?

Besides Electrical resistance (Dark Wizards) & Fire resistance (Talon); do I need to save Ice or Death resistance items?

How do you guard a particular character?

Um i got no idea what you mean by book 2? As for guarding characters what do you mean? If you mean just keeping them alive use a shield tank to spam provoke and keep agro.

Lore Book 2 as in the book after the smithing book but before the mothers book.

By guarding I mean like how a summon creature will guard its master
