Im stuck in loa...frustrating

I just got to illicor and i talked to the one guy that tells me to kill all zaurask in the city so i go around and kill them all and it says illicor is safe in my journal thing. However, when I go back to the guy that gave me the quest he says "have you driven out the zaurask?" and i cant trade with anyone. Whats going on?

Kill the Zurorisk West North and South in Illicor. Go around each of the first two buildings and inside them all. Your quest is now done.

if you really have killed all zaurask and that glitch keeps up, just load from your last save.... if that doesnt fix it.... just start all over....

I found I had missed one of the critters when I they wouldn't sell to me and I had to go went back through the buildings to find him. I suspect the game does this on purpose.
