Question How do I save my character in MP?

The book says to host an Elite game, you're character must be at least level 83. There are some elite games on the internet. How did people get a character to level 83? I can't save in multiplayer and there definitely isn't enough xp in SP to reach that high a level. Please help me...

on saving

When you exit the game, your character is saved automatically. The gameworld will reset (ie. NOT be saved...ever) every time you reenter an MP game.

If you're having problems levelling then you're not alone . You hit a wall around 60-something level and you will have to solo on EASY difficulty (more XP) through Grescal dungeon (Quillrabe is also an option...Droogs are good for XP too).

You can download mods to increase XP gain or to bypass Vet/Elite areas, as well. If you play with others then you need to make sure all of them are running the same siegelets (mini-mods).

Your character will retain all XP and items gained from each MP session...if you want to test it first just host a 'Network' normal difficulty, MP game on your computer, change something (buy some boots or something), exit, make a new game and you'll see that your character is fine

S_S

EDIT: BTW, without installing a mod you are limited in what kind of game you can make/join (normal, veteran and elite)...they are all level-based.
