Question fatal error....

ugh ok this problem is still bothering me since the day i boughtt he game....i finished the single player game after reinstalling about 6 times (ill say why in a sec), just so i can be safe not to accidentaly delete themm...heres my prob...

i get to a certain part of the game (first time was about 5 min. from beginning of game, fighitng some guys, last time was in multiplayer on my way to Lang), the game CRASHES, shows a message that says "Fatal Error, there is a corrupt file, you must fix this problem(reinstall?) before continuing."
then it lists the file that is "corrupted" it is usually 'terrain.dsres' but sometimes it is 'objects.dsres' or once it was 'mpworld.dsres'

the thing is....after i restart dungeon siege, i reload my game and i get the exact same spot and it says the same thing....i tried to reinstall (even in diff directory), and it puts that "crash point" at a different spot in the game, but so far ive always had one....

total reinstall count=20? i cant even install the beta patch cuz it says "file not found, but a file with the same name was found, installation will not continue" it is talking about the "corrupt" file....

what do i do? take it back, and get new dungeon siege? help!

I have the same exact error at the beginning, but it always happens after I created my character and start loading the world it will crash on me. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same thing. Then I uninstalled again, reboot the computer, install the game and reboot again. Now it works fine. Try that.
