what do I uninstall now that I have the CE

I have played 5 times through... great game... I now have the CE - I believe I read that you need to uninstall everything when you get the CE... that is ok with me... the game goes blank for a second now and then ... kinda scares me... so, I was hoping that with a fresh game, some of the running issues will clear up... black screens... really long long freezes... game ending pauses... etc...

Don't you see the Uninstall button for Dungeon Lords in your Menu Shortcuts or Control Panel Add/Remove Programs?

Thumbs up

D S, uninstall your previous DL, then install CE. If you try installing over the old release, it renames the saves. That means your old saves are not compatible. You have to start over with new CE character to realize the changes/additions.

Thanks! That was what I was wondering... so, I uninstall my v1.4 DL - are there any files I need to delete after uninstall is finished? I am not a computer wizard, so please be specific about which files/folders I should look for...

soon to be in CE!!!

I would delete or rename the install directory, which by default is:
C:\Program Files\Dreamcatcher\Dungeon Lords

That way you know that there will no issue with old files causing problems.

Note that you will loose your old saved games if you delete the install directory.
