Valdanes cell

I have totally scoured the whole Naga temple, but I can't seem to find the entrance to the west side of valdane's cell to free him, the walkthrough just shows a hallway that starts out of nowhere, and I have no clue how to find what it connects with, can someone help??

Sorry nevermind, I got it figured out, I guess I didn't firure I'd have to go back to someplace I'd already been, I guess that's what happens when you don't do things in order??

For further reference to those viewing this thread, you will need to acquire the Golden Key in the prisons in order to open Valdane's cell.

This room is the one located off to the side of the corridor wherein all the fire spouts come alive (and the floor is a fiery red). Unfortunately, you can't reach the prison from the corridor, so you will need to get to it via a roundabout way.

Once in, there's nothing save the usual to fight off: Naga guards, Naga Magi, and a not so remarkable Naga Prisonmaster. Also, make sure to open up a cell for one of the thieves, and follow him round to the back of the room - he'll give you a key (Demon Key) that will allow you entry to the room in the Tomb of Souls, where you can fight the Fiend Gazhbu for a nifty 1,000,000 exp.
