Stuck

Hello, I'm on the Ulm quest and I'm on the lower level. I used the key to go through the first door and get the armor and kill everything. Unfortunately when I went through the door I was fighting something and accidently closed the door behind me (I was in the room with the levers). Now that I'm done with that part I'm trying to get back out but I can't open the door, I guess the lock is too far away for me to "use". How do I get out of this since this is the only way out? I don't know how to do the hex edit thing, so if someone could help me out i'd appreaciate it.

Man, can't someone help? I'm totaly stuck and can't continue the game. I'd really hate to start all over again. Is there a way to edit the save file so that the door is open?

I take it you don't have an earlier save you could fall back on? I don't think any of the saved game editors can change the status of the door, but no doubt you can use one to change your position in Ulm. You might want to try reading some of the editor threads, or hope that one of the editor gurus decides to drop by.

No I don't have a previous save game file unfortunately. If someone can tell me the hex numbers for the location I could use the editor to move me, but I don't know how to use hex editors myself.

Here's a possible solution;
If your save is somewhat less than 700kb, zip it to smallest size possible. It should then be less than 100kb, which this site allows. Attach it to a post here and I'll grab it and get you out of trouble. I use to have gamers send their files by email, but I don't like doing that anymore.

Just zip your save to smallest size possible and hope the zip is less than 100kb.
