What i wanted to ask is where the hell is the idiot sorcerer from the sorcerer class ? went around the lost lake 3 times and didn't see anybody !

And by the way... is there anyway to change my char name ?

The Guy youre supposed to kill is located on a fairly large patch of land in the upper most NW part of the lake. If you check out the world map

you will see the area directly N from the small island in the Lost Lake.
step ashore and walk inland a bit and he should appear.

And, as you surely know, dont forget to get the quest first :P
