shadow realm issue

can anybody help me through the lord kingston area, I'm stuck on getting through jumping on the four pillars to get to the other shadow door

yeah , that is a blooper of this game.
i can't jump over them without workthrough!

i spend 30 mins to watch, and record the pillars sequence, but i still can't jump over them. according the workthrough, you have to use "time crystal"
into "slow motion" mode, so that you can have enough time to jump and adjust your direction over and over the pillars..

I've gone trough the walk through. read the threads on it. and tried with the time crystals. I've spent hours triing to get through it and getting pissy about it. I'm ready to delete the game right off my pc

Dodgeman - do NOT delete your game. If you use a Time Crystal JUST BEFORE you go into the room with the pillars, it will allow you to complete the jumps easily. Use the information from the walk-through - don't take time to get the treasures, just go to your right, stand at the edge and wait for the farthest pillar to go down. Then start making your jumps, making sure to turn carefully on each pillar to make your next jump. You might consider saving your game before you use the time crystal - then if you don't make it the first time, you can just re-load and try again. Believe me - I am NOT that great at jumping stuff and I made it the first time just fine. Enjoy!

as N2Katz said, use time-crystal before you enter this room, if you fail, get out this room and use time-crystal again, when you pass it you will get a lot of fun from it !

it is a special feature of this game, and maked me impressed.

I have been working on this area for 2 weeks with endless hours wasted,

. I absolutly HATE this area. who in there right mind thought this would be funny?? I would love to send my saved game to someone just to get me past

I have tried the walktroughs and time crystals, but still unable to get it done and getting very pissy about it

by the way i use savefile editor to see your character, you play a low-level fighter, how did you go to shadow ruin without complete other mission before ?
it is danger for a low-level character in shadow ruin.

well, i descripe the walkthrouth careful again...
when you enter the main room, you will see a knight and three ghost attack him. in the main room you can see two shadow door, left and right.
right door direct you to that damn trap.
so here is our plan...

you run to the left door ,ignore the knignt and ghosts,
when you enter left door, use the "time crystal" , it take you 5-6 seconds and you become slow motion..
NoW , run back to main door, and go ahead to right door ! with slow motion.
When you enter right door, you will see 4 damn pillar sink down slowly,
move your ass to right corner,don't worry , you will have enought time to see 4 pillars sink down.
Prepare Yourself!

when you see first pillar raise up, jump to it rightnow !
then wait 1.5 second see second pillar raise up jump to it! (you will also see 3,4 pillar raise up) just control your mouse and keyboary to jump to 3 and 4 pillar.

If you Fail, don't worry, just head back to Left door ! you MUST enter left-door, so that right-door trap will all reset pillar sequence !!!

if you use time crystal in main room, then you will not much time and sequence in right-door trap.

thanks for trying to get it to work on your DL, As for my character I never relised that it was a low level fighter. I've been able to get what ever was needed to get to the shadow realm, so what should have been done before?

well, i use savefile editor to see a fighter with low level of fight,defend skill.
i don't know , it may be a error .
for entering shodow ruin, we have to get shadow crystal, for that we have to enter skulldon to get a tree symbol, if we finish this, i remember we should have level up to 8 skills on fight(light weapon,heavy weapon .....)

whatevey, did you try again to cross that damn pillar?
