Secret Room? (spoiler alert)

This may or may not be a spoiler, but don't say I didn't warn you...



I am not sure if this was an unfinished room in Vartugg's fortress in earlier versions (I don't recall seeing it in either the 1.3 or 1.4 versions) but Vartugg has a secret room in his office. This room is gotten into in the same way of entering most secret rooms in this game. Has anybody else ever found this room in versions other than the Collector's Edition?

Two high level chests, one has armor, the other magic (quality items but nothing earthshattering) plus there is about 1400 gold sitting on the table. Not a bad haul for an elf and a lizard...

I guess I didn't express myself very well in the above post. I was trying to get a response, even an "No, I never noticed that" would have been quite good. I am currently playing the 1.5, and the secret room is there. I am not going to go back to my old 1.3 retail game just to satisfy my curiosity...

Since I already gave a spoiler warning on the thread I don't think I need to give another. If anybody is remotely curious here are the details:

In Vartugg's office, face the desk with the back of the room to the north. To the right is a wall with narrow windows and you can look through it and see part of a table. This is the table in one of the screenshots I posted above. On that same wall is a long bookcase. In the corner, near the back of the room is a loose tome. When pushed it will activate a door behind Vartugg's desk. Attached is a map.

I mentioned the secret room in the walkthrough. It's only there in the CE.

Well, that explains that. I only read the wallkthrough if I have a problem I cannot solve any other way. This room did not present a gameplay problem, thus it did not occur to me to check the walkthrough. Thank you for your response.
