Sarcophagen Jewels in the Maze of Irynthabl

Does anyone know how many Sarcophagen Jewels (red skulls)

there are to obtain before going into the castle?

There are 4 jewels to obtain. These must be placed into the four fire pillars found in the maze. Once you place all four jewels into the pillars, a way out of the maze will open. The exit will open in the same room as one of the fire pillars. So if you place the last jewel, and its not the room you are in, you'll have to check all the fire pillar rooms.

I can only remember 3 jewels. There is a good map of the Maze by Axis420 somewhere here in the Forum.

I downloaded Axis's map and it helped I have 3 jewels I found what I think is a fourth in front of the secret passage way located on Axis's map but there's no way to get it. And by this map there's only one way into the castle and that's where I'm at right now.

You have to place a jewel in each of the flaming rotating heads in those blade rooms. Then, the secret door will open. And, there are definately only 3 jewels.

There are not 4 but 3 jewels.
