it is much easier to get a game up by going to the gamespy lobby. its free and you will be able to play without ip addresses. ppl usually start playing in the early afternoon. sometimes you gotta wait a min for someone to come in though.

i tried but it said my cd number was unkown

sometimes games are sold and then returned. this is unfortunate. this may be the case for you and someone may have already registered that cd key. i'm not sure if you can contact dreamcatcher or someone for a new one. may be worth a try. i've found its almost impossible to find a player for direct ip. good luck with it though. pm me if you want to set up a time and ill try with you.
