One more try... What to do to leave fargot.. Please help me...

I hope someone could help me here...

What do to when you're in fargoth:
brought the letter to the monastry,
saved seer,
spoken witht he Celestine,
returned the relic from the catacombs,
Spoken with the king and received his orders to go to arindale,

But I can't leave fargoth on the west gate (next to the prison) because I get stuck between 2 gates... Some people told me it is a bug.. but bugs vanish over time right?? I tried it atleast 20 times again but I still keep spawning between 2 gates when I try to enter the west gate... (one time I also spawned at the side entrance where you need to go trough when you begin with "dungeon lords)...

but is there some lever or something I should pull to raise this gate I'm talking about?? Maybe you know where I'm talking about when you see this screenshot I made... I suppose I need to spawn a little forward at the other side of the gate I'm looking toward right??

(I'm sorry I haven't adjusted the brightnes yet but I'm desperate )

note: that other guy is just my brother because we're playing on lan/networking... but now I started single player it comes with the same bug/problem...

Argh! That certainly sounds like a bug. If I recall, you just need to talk to the guards and then walk toward the gate, and it opens. You don't need to pull any levers or anything. The gate should open, you walk forward, the game does it's "cut thing", and then you should appear on the outside. But it sounds like you're getting stuck for some reason. Argh!

When I was in the castle Ulm (further along in the story), I had something very similar happen. I had been through all the doulbe-doors in the castle -- except one. Only one door (the left one) of the double-door would open, and I couldn't get through. I found out that there was a peep on the other side of the door (on the right hand side) that was causing the door not to be able to open. I needed to get through this set of double-doors to complete the mission! Argh! However, I was, after some serious work, able to situate myself just right so that I could fire arrrows at the guy. When he died, I left the room and came back, and the doors opened normally.

u didn't talk to the maid in the lords castle and the barmaid at the inn. Talk to the maid to the lords daughter, upstairs, and return to the lord and talk to him. He will then tell u to go search for her.

Belwalk I actually did... I received the orders of the king to go find his daughter and retrieve the horn to arindale thats what I said and I am also able to load the northern road by going trough the west gate but I just become stuck...

I haven't seen your other posts, but have you just tried starting over? You are practically at the start of the game. I was already most of the way through Arindale when I hit a snag and started over. That was last night, and I'm almost ready to leave Fargrove this morning, I'm already in the catacombs.

If you did start over already and hit the same snag, then I'd say it's your game installation, or some related software such as drivers. Uninstall and reinstall the game. I know the driver's sound like they wouldn't be related, but believe me, I'd seen drivers screw with games in the most unpredictable ways sometimes. It's worth trying anyway.

Good luck. Maybe the 1.2 patch will help you when it is released?

Yeah maybe the 1.2 patch will work but I allready started all over again 3 times... 2 times singleplayer and one time multiplayer... but everytime it gets with the same problem... I guess I should re-install but what do I have to copy so I won't lose my character or should i let it be deleted as well to?
I guess only the folder "save" with my save games in it won't be enough to save my character as well right?
I guess I have to start over again although I'm lvl 12 allready...
What do you suggest me to do?

Hey DGJ3ll3,

I've been playing this game for a while also and I've also had the same problem for about a week now. After reading the Huristic Park forum, it mentions that this IS A BUG that a handful of people run into. Someone had a solution where right after talking to the king and getting the letter to leave Fargrove, leave though the south exit and then run through the town to get through the west exit. I've tried this AFTER leaving through the west gate and getting stuck and it doesn't work, so you gotta try it BEFORE you even leave through the west gate. Honestly, I haven't tried it myself so I don't know if it works, but the guy at the forum said it worked for him. I dunno, hope I was some help... Good gamin'!
