Naga Temple Jump

Is there any other way to make this jump to save valderne. My character keep falling into maze. Have tried about everything. Any pointers out there.

Jumping is required to take the artefact, to free Valdane please read the posted walkthrough. And, by the way, you will not fall if you measure carefully your jump. good luck!

I figured out that my problem was that all the armor I was wearing was weighting me down. Strip to my shorts with Elevn sword of speed in hand with a running half down the corridor and made the jump. YEAH!!!!

Man, at what lvl is your atletics - I keep it high lvl'ed, so I didn't have any problems with jumping.

Neither the weight of your armor nor your level of athletics have anything to do with how far you jump. and you don't have to do any jumping to get to the artifact, you can just swim over and get it. Just so you know. D

huh? Swim to save Valdane? I din't recall any swimable area in Naga Temple... You mean swiming in air across the trapdoor? Cool, I wish I could do that, gotta replay the game tonite and see if I could do that... what class you used to do that? Any spells or procedure?

Uuuuuhhhh no. When you get to the relic room with the naga queen you don't have to do all the jumping from broken bridge to broken bridge as is implied in the second post in this thread (maybe I missunderstood his post). You can just jump in the water and swim over to the relic and climb out of the water and get the relic and swim back. Unless they fixed this in the patch. You of course have to make the jump to save valdane. D

Oh, the relic in the queen's room, I see. Yes, that one, you can jump all the way and without touching the water to get to. Anyway, I have to say, the Queen is so easy when you got the gas mask.... It's actually unfair to her!! The first time I fought her, I have the gas mask but never put it on ( I was thinking having it in my inventory will automatically protect me from poison

... That was one very tough fight - without the gas mask on

)

In the Collector's Edition, you have to get the key to the gate for the naga relic. You can't swim close enough to the relic platform to climb up. It keeps you away from the edge of the platform.
