I am lost ! Need help

I just started the game. I am in Fargrove town center. Now, it says go west to the gate so I can get to Arindale, the gate I find, there is a soldier there and I can't get in. Is that the good gate? How do I get to Arindale !!!!

Have you completed all of the things required in Fargrove (ie., obtained the letter to Lord Davenmore)?

Go to the celestial temple in the monastery district. Talk to the guy there. Follow his instructions. Report back to the temple and there see Celestine. Be sure you check all dialog options with Celestine. She will give you a quest (not a guild quest), finish it and you'll be on your way. D
