Hope I am not asking too many "newbie" questions, but here goes:

I have found the area with the drakes and can see the nests, but am having a lot of trouble actually climbing up the rocks to get there. As you can imagine, this is a problem b/c I am a sitting duck for their fire blast as I run up and down the steep rocks. Is there an easy way to get up there? I have looked at the maps on the walkthrough and it didn't look like it would be this hard. Already killed a couple of them, but only by drawing them out one by one - and it takes forever. I'm ready to get the egg and run! Help!

Also - my character is a thrall - could that be the problem? Too short?

I think a couple of points in athletics might help. It's also easiest to stay on the edges of the area rather than to go down the middle.

Thanks very much (again). Athletics at 4 and I will try to raise. Hopefully starting and staying on the edges will help.

I use a zig zag route up to the nests. There seems to be a switchback up the hills to the nests that goes from center to the right and back up towards the center. A good technique, if you don't mind reloading, is to save before you reach the point where the drakes come out after you. Then just go and find a good route that you can climb, don't worry about getting killed, the purpose is to find the route up the to the nests, so just revive when you die and continue until you know the route and you can do it in one shot. Then reload and make a run for an egg.
