Question Glitch? Help?

my character gets stuck in random areas. Cant move, jump, roll, all i can do is attack. its happened many times and i hate having to reload from a while back, especially after a big fight... is there a way to recover it without having to reload? for further times needed. Thanks

Marc

Hi Marc:

You don't mention which version of the game you are playing. If you are playing an older edition (1.1 or 1.3) you should patch it to version 1.4. When I was playing 1.3 I noticed that glitch every so often. If you are playing the Collector's Edition I am not sure what to suggest. I am currently playing the CE and have not noticed the freezing up happen.

Try saving more often, so if it does happen you won't have to backtrack as much. I know that is kind of crummy, but there it is.

Here is patch info, just in case you need it. Make sure to download the correct one for your version.

I play version 1.4 and have occasionally gotten stuck in various holes, behind walls, in bushes, etc., but have always gotten out. Forward jumps while constantly turning seems to work well to free the character. The character doesn't always exit in a direction I would prefer, but at least the character is moving again.

Yep.

It's especially bad in the Vale of Ruins Section. I normally just stick with the forward jump, but I'll try turning next time. If you can't master getting out of the holes without restarting, don't go to the VoR.
