Fathien's Stronghold

I've found Fathien's Castle. Two guards flank the front entrance ... can someone help me get in? I've read the different threads and I guess I'm suppose to find some underwater tunnels.

There are dozens of blood fish swimming around. Just where can you jump in to explore with minimum damage from these pests. Or better yet, where should I jump in close to the tunnel.

You have to get an invitation to get in. Swimming around is something you do once you're inside the castle already. The invite comes from meeting the Elven King and finishing the dreaded Test of the Elders. Talk to the guy in the dojo, talk to the woman hiding in the inn, talk to the woman in the apothacary, when she kills her husband talk to her again. You should be able to see the king after that, assuming all your quests are in order.

Thanks, Frodo. Okay, I've talked with the lady in the Inn, and the Apothecary Lady, and she did kill her husband. The only response I get from her is that the apothecary is closed, and the lady in the Inn has nothing more to say.

So maybe I should be going back to the Lord's Manor. If you think of anything else, please post it.

Go into hall of lords. Tell them you want to find their holy armor (forgot name). Tell the lord that house fathien stole it, go to the hall of trials or whatever it's called. You'd better bring lot of healing pots because monsters are hard there. After you survive all tests talk to the elven king again and you'll get your invitation

Finally, got the right response. I'm readying for the Trial. Got about 40 healing potions ... hope it's enough.
