Elven Bow of Winter/Ice/Frost

were can i find the elven bow of winter? i want it so i can take on the firedrakes in the FD breeding ground. can u buy it? if so, were?

plz dont tell me its in a chest somewere. coz i dont want to reload just so i can get it.

Its not in a chest you can even get to until near the end of the game.

Wait until you become really powerful and then go back and kill the dragons..

TRUST ME, killing them with ANY kind of ranged weapon takes FOREVER and is not terribly useful. Better to go in with Cataclysm and show them your god-like wrath.

but i dont have cataclysm yet. any other suggests? the only ice spell i have is freezing touch. the rest are shrieking star, magic missile, fireball, fireburst, and burning hands. and i havent returnd the argalia yet so i cant enter the sealed tower.

Again, you are trying to kill them to early in the game.

Best bet is a bunch of firebursts (which don't actually have the element fire as the damage, but rather magic damage).

In fact for a mage - fireburst is your "weapon" of choice.

IF you can get close to one without fearing the attack of others, then several (8+) whirlwinds in a row are excellent.
