Hey could you please add multiplue character selection with the next build?
Multiplayer is very fun and often needs help with broken quest.
I tried to use your Editor on a Multiplayer save and seems to see the second of three player in the game.
It would be a great help to be able to add or fix broken quest info, if you need a Multiplayer savegame I will be glad to send you one, currently have one with three players, guess it would be a start.
Thanks for your help. | wow, great feedback! Thanks. I haven't even played multiplayer, yet... I will look in to and see what I can do for ya! Thanks again for the reply and keep and eye on the first post in this thread, because I update it with more info when a new release goes out. |

| | V1.53 Released! Wow, what a late night...I just wanted to get this one out there, because many ppl have requested the ability to manipulate their inventory. I know that there have been requests for multi-player compatibility, but I was not able to dive into that for this release. Keep an eye on this thread for future updates!

Again mny tnx | Thanks for positive reinforcement, George. Let me know how it works for you! I'm glad that someone appreciates the hard work I went back through the entire thread and noticed that most of the messages are only when people have trouble. With the exclusion of yourself and one or two others, there really hasn't been much positive feedback. This concerns me. Either everyone is enjoying the game to much to reply or most of the 600 or so downloads were not that pleased with this new editor...
At any rate, thanks again for the reply |

Just created a new Dwarf Adept character and made it Christmas for him. Lucky you have the repair option because all the armor is initially 0 quality. |

If I can get a listing together of the defense for each piece of armor, then I can add the defaults to the program.... |

I can't seem to get the item editor working. Everything else works (stats, heralds, skill) but when I select an Item and hit save a message pops up saying there was an error. What am I doing wrong. Thanks for any help. Ron. dkdragon25@hotmail.com |

| | | You have to select the correct category (weapons, armor, celestial, etc.) and from there select the item. The item's identifier number should then show. Maybe you're trying to select an item from the ALL category? Since other options work, evidently you have at least Net Framework 1.0 installed, that's good. |

It's really neat when you double-click the item, the drop-down opens up where you can type in the proper values to replace the 0's.
I imagine it's pretty far down the road, but knowing stats of an item would be super. Most of them are in the categorized sections at gamebanshee's walkthrough, but not all. The only way of finding out about those is to put them in inventory, start the game and see the item stats (weapons, armor, trinkets, etc.)
Brings to mind about the gamer at mud-master.com who created very comprehensive save editors for the Baldur's Gate series/Neverwinter Nights. |

The XYZ changing isn't working the way it should, so perhaps you aren't done with that yet. I altered the coordinates just outside Irynthabl Maze to Warglaw's campsite where you get the totem tree. It put me up on the mountain top west of Warglaw's camp??? |

I found the problem. The editor is refrencing the coordinates one address too far to the left. For instance;
00 xxxx 0000 yyyy 0000 zzzz 00 is basically what the editor is saying.
What it should be refrencing is;
0000 xxxx 0000 yyyy zzzz 0000
In other words, there's generally always four digits before the X coordinates
an Actual example'
28FD E949 8FBF 4AC6 FF56 CC48
therefore, E949 is x, 4AC6 is y, CC48 is z

Also when I got a helmet and armor they also showed up as damaged so I just took them to mage aleister and he repaired them. Thanks again for the help. Ron |

Also, if you set the Repair value in the Item Add screen to the max value of that items defense, then you won't see it as damaged when you start your game....
Thanks again. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
