some problem with my .net I reinstalled it now it works.
some things I noticed: Noble Cause did not have a pop up like the others did it should say -
-Strike +2
-Damage +10%
-Parry +2
and the protection from Poison dont cap at 255 keps going and the other side dont say 255 just stays at what it was originaly.
other than that I will let you know if I find anything els.

Exclamation

Hovering your cursor over the left side poison stat will tell you it cannot be directly modified because it's determined by things you wear, etc. Your resistances only have to be at 100 to realize full protection.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to hear that everything is working now. Too bad that you're unable to change your vote and you didn't even get paid Unfortunately, I had a problem with my hard drive and lost most of my source code needed to make small corrections like those you mentioned. I decided to re-write the editor from scratch and am currently working on a new revision that should correct those issues. Enjoy.

Let's see now.... you have windows XP w/svc pak 2, did you first install netframework 2.0 (free download from MS) before running the editor?

I am certain that I have seen this one before somewhere. I just can't remember exactly what the resolution turned out to be... Here is an exerpt from a site that I found that had resolved a similiar problem with a .NET realease.

"They were running XP, and their shortcut was set to run in Win98 Compatibility mode. Once they unchecked that setting, the error went away. I do wonder how the setting was checked in the first place, since the user definitely didn't do it herself. If anyone has any ideas on how this could have been set by default, I'd like to hear them."

Check the above information by performing the following. You can right click on the icon and left click on properties, then select the "Compatibility" tab. Verify that nothing is checked or selected here and click ok. Report back to me your findings.

which version of the .net framework are you using. 2 is a given, but need the minor version. Send me back the names of all subfolders that appear in the following directory:

%SYSTEMROOT%\Microsoft.NET\Framework

I know that there is a hotfix for the .net framework 2.0 that might be affecting this issue.

Secondly, version the security permission of the DL Editor file. This will only be visible if you are using NTFS, are you using NTFS or FAT? You can find this out by opening mycomputer and right clicking on the C drive and left click on properties. You should see on the third line or so of the "General" tab the file system entry. It should be either NTFS or FAT.

Please report back the following information:
-.NET Framework versions(all) installed on your computer
-Filesystem used on your system drive (NTFS or FAT)
-The security settings on the DL editor file including who is able to access the file and what levels of accessibility do they have.

Email me directly, if you have any questions about how to accomplish any of this. DungeonLord@logicse.com

Steve i got a question for you regarding the net framework

since i have net framework version 1.1 and the version 1.1 hotfix or so it says in my control panel anyway do i really need to have the version 2.0 framework x86 x 64 since i don't have a x 64 system but do have xp service pack 2 and last time i tried installing version 2.0 of net framework it might have been the cause of a crash of my computer.

anyway i downloaded the editer's release again and says i need the mscoree.dll and to re install net framework so i don't know what my problem is lol.
are version 1.1 and the 1.1 hotfix of the net framework considered to be beta 1 and beta 2 of the net framework and net framework 2.0 is the final version?

any help would be appreciatted
thanks
Kyndig

.NET framework 2.0 is required. The x64 that you note was a different release specifically for 64 bit architecture systems. You most likely need the x86 version found here. I need to update the link in the original message and my signature. Good luck. Sorry about the confusion.
