Dragons in Arindale

I've been over and over the nests and can't pick up an egg. All I see are skulls. Are the eggs in the dragon nests? I don't even get a text that says an egg, as you do with other items that you can pick up. I'm some frustrated.

The walkthrough is really helpful with all sorts of tips and stuff. Try reading here, details about which nests have eggs.

(Not all of them do, try to the far south of the breeding grounds, near the treasure chests.)

Dragons in Arindale

Thanks, Kathy. I have read the walkthroughs up to where I am in the game. Maybe I'm always trying the same, wrong, nest because I usually see the chest nearby. I have been unable to get farther south because I can't climb the hills fast enough without getting killed, in spite of using my wards of fire continuously because the dragons keep blasting me down again. I've read all the threads on this forum about this area, but guess I just haven't found the knack yet. I'll keep trying.

Yea, getting the egg can be tough. Try to get your athletics to 4 and see if you can backflip up. When I go in, if facing south I try to stay to the left side of the area and it seems you can run around the edge and it is a bit easier going. You do need the egg, but you can always postpone getting it until your character is a little stronger. The egg is not necessary to do the Trial of the Elders quest and Ulm, Yoshi will give you that quest regardless if you have an egg or not. Good luck.

Thanks for all the advice, Kathy. I finally got the egg, but how, I don't know since the blasts from the dragons blinded me and I guess I just got lucky and stumbled upon one of the nests with the eggs. BTW, you won't believe this, but my character is level 16 and I'm a Paladin, Shugenja, Kenjasai. Don't know how, seems that the guy in the House of the Dragon is the only one who has been offering me any promotions. I started out as an Adept. I'm doing the Vale of Ruin and I've just got Iron Will so we'll see how I make out.

Good, you got your egg.

You were able to get Eastern house promotions before getting the egg and joining the guild? Lucky, that Yoshi guy must like you.
