There is a rather serious bug in the game that works to your advantage. I suggest you exploit this flaw fully, then patch.
The flaw I'm talking about is the scroll/potion bug. If you go to a mercant and sell them scrolls or potions that you have more then one of, you will get the money but the items will stay in your invintory. so just keep selling the same bunch of scrolls over and over untill you have a few million. Then patch the game.
Personaly, i thought this game was lacking in so many areas, the fact they released the patch less a week after the game was launched is just another example of games being released before they are complete. The sorry ones are the ones that go tothe store and buy this crap when it first drops, paying top money for the privllage of being a beta tester. I am NOT one of the sorry ones! No amount of patching is going to help this piece of crap one iotta. The quests were boring, the puzzles lacked any imagination, the AI was a laugh, the combat system was cumbersome, spells that didnt work, NPCs telling contradicting story elements. (you were told twice to seek out the relic that davenmore's daughter had , when in reality, hers is the very last you get.)
Don't waste your money!
