There are only a couple of chests that will provide Deathlord armor. One such chest is in the Fire Drake area west of Arindale. There are two chests you can loot below the Fire Drake nests, one that gives a random trinket and one that gives a random piece of high level armor. If you save before opening the latter chest, you can reload until you get the armor you want. I've obtained Deathlord, Guilded, and Dragon armors from this particular chest.

heya Zed, I found the deathlords belt in the northlands temple (can't remember the name)! Anyways it was in one of the chests. the temple isnt to big so its pretty easy. good items and exp. O and if u end up beating the demon at the end pick the demons steel from the watcher. You'll end up going to the right passage and open a chest and a crap load of awsome armor and weapons will pop out at you.
Now you would expect the Fighters Guild to sell me the appropriate Armour but, nada.
