council of stones (can't tell them the pwd)

Hi all,
I haven't seen any thread about this, and haven't found any solution in the gamebanshee details.
I have brought the four relics, talked to Vartugg. He gave me the password to tell to the council of stones, but when i go there, they don't talk to me anymore. I left and came back almost twenty times, but they're still "frozen". I came a few times before and they always talked to me, but I hadn't the pwd at that moment. Has anybody a solution ? I think i'm near the end of the game, and I don't want to start from the beginning.

Have you pressed "shift" when you are near the two middle ones? Stand next to the one on the left and press shift to converse with him. You should get the option to say "Iranthabl". If not, you may need to go back to Vartugg and talk to him (again).

Thanks Mago, but I already did all this. I did it again after your post, to be sure, but they still don't talk to me, even after pressing the shift (right and left) keys... Vartugg has left and doesn't want to talk again...
I'm so desperate that I'm trying right now to climb the moutains to reach the other side, but it seems impossible .
Any help before desintegration please

Sounds like you've encountered an irrecoverable bug. There is a way to get into that area through the mountains. Search the forum for "mountain passes".

Thanks, that's what I did, I climbed the moutains ! I'm just thinking that I'll have to do the same on my way back . It took me something like half an hour to climb the moutains, using jumps, backflips and some rocks... pfiouuu.

Won't need to get back through there. If all else goes well, you will be teleported to Talendor after beating the witch. Glad you got unstuck!
