Cant get through west gate.

Not sure what is wrong but I can get through doors at west side of Fargrove but there is a closed gate. I have completed all in town quests and have revisited all characters and places in town but nothing I do seems to get gate open. Gate at south side is wide open with no problems. I can see road and even enemies through gate, I need to get to Arrindale for next quest...ANY SUGGESTIONS?

On the map its exit B. (..if you are at a different exit, then find the correct one. NOTE: you should NOT be able to see through the correct door.)

You'll need to:

1. Perform quest for order in catacombs. (16)

2. Talk to Celestial Celestine again. (16)

3. Talk to Aleister. (16 & 10)

4. Complete the Davenmore quest. (2)

5. Talk to guard at exit B to get the "go-ahead", then hit your action key while standing close to the door for exit B.

I did all those things, and after getting OK from guard it lets me through the doors, however, there is a gate on other side that is not open, and i can see West road through the the gate.

Ooooh, sorry about that. Thats a bug. You'll need to restart from an earlier saved game to see if that corrects the problem. If not, you'll need to uninstall the game and try for a fresh install.

ALTERNATIVELY, you can hex edit you character's location - do a search for that in the forum here for more information if you are interested.

ok well I had the same problem and no matter what you do it will still be there go online and start a new game save the game go to single player resume your online game but when every you are in the sewers hold down the shift keep and that will stop the bug.if any more problems let me now
