Budoka and Samurai

Is it possible to do both 2nd classes?
I started as thief, added fighter.
Then in the house of tiger I had the option to choose to advance as Budoka or Samurai. I chose Budoka.
But then I got no more option to take the Samurai path as well?
Is there a possibility to be both Budoka and Samurai?
Or can one only have one eastern class advancement?

It appears you have taken the rougue path. Check the advancement tables.

Yes, right!
But as far as I understand it you can have 2 second tier classes.
So I want to go for Rogue-Budoka-Ninja Lord and Fighter-Samurai

Or is it only possible to take i.e. Marauder as an second tier? No two eastern ones?

Right, you can only follow one Eastern path. But you should still be able to take the marauder class.

Marauder and Budoka means:
Ninja with heavy weapons... lol
Ok, I guess I will have to follow this path now. Not sure if its easy playing though.
Is there any Savegame-Editor where you can change your first class?

I would change fighter to adept or so...

I started out as a fighter added adept, went with marauder but i dont think you can get samurai..when i go to the house of tiger i only can pick the monk

If you had already choosen a 2nd tier fighter class, then saumari won't be available, since it replaces the western 2nd tier classes.

I don't mean to steal the thread, but.. this leads right into the question I wanted to ask.. I bailed the guy out of the jail and went to Mr. Gibbs to get into the slums section, but no option for the password comes up onscreen. I made my character to be a rogue and want to advance to Budoka-Ninja Lord. Is this a known bug? I'd hate to have to start over as I'm now lvl 11 and in the midst of the elder trials..

Did you talk to the guy after bailing him out? That is, did he actually tell you the password? And are you using a patched version of the game?

Yeah, I talked to him. He didn't bring it up, but it was an option to talk about and when I pressed it he said something like "ssh, don't say that so loudly" or something like that. I forgot to mention I'm playing v1.3. I know what the password is, but there's no option to type it or anything.

I went ahead and made a new guy in the hopes that this one will make it onto the slums. I'm planning ahead with this guy as far as skills and stats go and I'm definitely going to save the game prior to talking with that guy in the jail! lol

hey zig hehe thats what my char is Rogue-adept-budoka-paladin-ninjalord and its wicked fun hehe specialy if you have an extremely high speed like watch flash fight with a sword hehe

indeed my friend , wicked slashing hacking fun . ATM im lvl 32 and i put the game at HARD and MORE random encounters . I'm fighting moonbeasts for the exp . So much fun when 6 to 10 moonbeasts attack you . RARRR DIE YOU WRETCHED BEASTS
