athena guardians

hi everyone. i am in the athena guardian room and want to get back to the tower to activate the ruin at the top of the tower. i was there before but left because i didn,t know the sequence of loose bricks and the wizard and ghouls were beating me up pretty bad. i can get back into the shadow realm of islands but i can,t figure out the route to take to get back to the tower. thanks in advance. old codger

If you’re in the Athena guardian room with the 3 guardians standing in the center of the room you have to kill them to leave. To kill them you have to activate them by finding shadow stones hidden in chest in the shadow realm. You’ll find one chest/ stone at a time and after you activate and kill one statue another gate will open and you'll find another hidden chest/stone and repeat. After they're dead you'll exit to the south and be in a small room with two chests and a rune to activate. When you exit that room you'll be in the shadow ruins hub area. Turn around and go back in to the shadow gate you just came out of and you'll be in the fire room before the tower. This is all assuming I know where you are. D
