Ahhhh! I'm Stuck Again

i just delivered alister's letter to lord davenmore. i told him elowyn left and when i go to the west gate i go out. when i appear outside the metal gratetype door is about half way down.... i'm too tall to go under it as well? does anyone have any ideas? ty in advance

I'm not sure exactly where you are, but it sounds like the wrong place. All of the main gates have guards posted in front of them. You can't miss them and they bark out "Halt, the gates have been closed by the order of Lord Davenmore, bla bla.

I recommend that you go to the walkthrough area on this site and look over the Fargrove city map. It will help you find your way.

If you are having different problems than that, post back and we'll try to help you.

I've heard of this problem, but I haven't seen anybody mention it for a long time, and I thought perhaps the 1.3 patch had fixed it. I never saw a solution for the problem, so if you have patched your game, you might just be stuck without any hope of continuing.

The solution that I seem to remember was to exit through the South gate, then return to Fargrove and the West gate should open properly. It has never happened to me though, so I don't know if that works or not. Read it somewhere in this forum a while back.

we, brother and i went out the south gate and fought our way past lake dire to a tower when we returned to fargrove the gate was still stuck.... i must be SOL. wow this game is glitchy
