It keeps getting better.

Any chance for a summarized change list?

People would probably like it if they could choose what to add from the fix pack, like old IWD patches. Not sure if its possible for you.

I would also like the elves to have another offensive spell, but I guess that doesn't fir the game or its balance :P

Also, I might be able to host your file for you if you want.

Yes, I've been thinking of making options to choose what updates you want to use, like with WEIDU installer... Maybe in next release.

Go ahead and host the file, though rapidshare.de works for my purposes...

More ideas about game balance?

Perhaps new items? What kind of items you would like to see, Leggings of Running (+25% running speed)? Or perhaps some new archetypes?

Yes, some new archetypes would be nice. Even better: fully customisable archetypes. I hated how I was forced to choose from a premade. Yuk.

Sorry, but I cannot change the GUI, thus unable to make customizable archetypes.

But how about if you would be more specific about the archetype. What kind of attributes, talents, special abilities, race, background and more importantly, what kind of advantages/disadvantages?

Well, one archetype I like to play is a Fighter/Mage type.

There's not a single magic user among these archetypes though...

Side note: the political correctness of using the "she" pronoun in archetype descriptions is hilarious. Especially when you are reading about a swordfellow.

Oh, and it looks like the Scout isn't wearing anything above her waist other than some body paint...

Apart from the caravan guard, none of those archetypes appealed to me. Most are too bland or generic.

I also like Caravan Guide. I've been thinking about adding atleast one of these archetypes:

Caravan Guide:
- A light-armored novadi warrior with some thief skills.
- Strong Pick Pocket Perception and Survival talents.
- High intuition and courage
- Weapon: Sabres

Tribal Warrior:
- Melee version of classic ranger build.
- Strong Animal Lore, Sneak and Traps talents.
- High agility and courage
- Weapon: Spear

The Witch
- A half-mage with bonus to herb- and animal related talents.
- A mixture of a classic druid and alchemist.
- Strong Alchemy, Plant Lore and Seduce.
- Animal control or summoning spells as starting spells.
- High cleverness and charisma
- Weapon: Daggers

But I first would need to come up with unique advantages and disadvantages, any ideas?

Hey ergo, I got your fixpacks 1.0 to 1.3, but I can't find a link to your 1.3a hotfix, 1.4 or 1.5. Where are they? Also the link in the first post to your first 3 packs is broken.

I propose this disadvantage and advantage for the Caravan Guard:

Pro: Better Endurance. (From all the travelling in the desert.)
Neg: Worse AE? Worse social skills?

@j3kyll:
You need only the latest pack: Ergo's Fixpack v1.62. Actually the game might get messed up if you install more than one...

@GawainBS:
As much as I like those advantages/disadvantages, they hardly are unique. I'm looking for something unique, like +PA etc. that none of the existing archetypes has. Like Caravan Guard wuold have naturally thick skin (because the desert storm), thus having +1 to all DR...

+1 all DR sounds good.
Is it possible to make learning Heavy Armour cost more? To represent that they feel best in lighter armour?

Thanks Ergo. I tried to install but I kept getting the message "The path to "Drakensang\export\db\static.db4" couldn't be read from the registry." So I tried your help instructions. My version was already set to 1.03 and I set my root folder to E:\program files\drakensang\export but it is still not finding the game.
