losing stamina

I hope someone still looks here

I just left the cursed abbey and I noticed my stamina dropping continually. Is this an effect of the lich's attack? If so how do I counter it?

is your character encumbered? (little red icon on the 'inventory' button, if you weren't sure)

if your character is heavily encumbered - just under the maximum weight limit - your stamina drops constantly

No. He's not encumbered. I've tried stamina potions, minor restoration potions, I've also rested twice since then.

right, well, you might possibly have some kinda cursed item, but I'm not sure if they can do that 'cos I haven't had the game for long. otherwise, it's a bug.

try dumping everything from your inventory and equipment slots and see if it stops. if not, something is buggered.

Yep it was a cursed item. I wasn't even wearing it, just carrying it, so it kinda threw me. Thanks for the advice.
