Weapons and stats?

Hello

In Beyond Divinity, which weapons are based on which stat? I know swords are based on STR and a small bit on DEX. How about the other weapons? I'd like to make an agile meleefighter.

Axes may also require high strength. It depends on the model. And remember, the stats on special weapons may vary from game to game.

How about the other weapons? I assume bows you DEX. What about daggers? Staffs? Spears? I like it very much that the spear is a viable melee weapon in Beyond Divinity.

It's been too long since I played, but perhaps somebody else can speak to these questions. If not, there's always the developers' website, where you can probably search their database.
