Question Transportation (BD)

So I just started playing BD, I'm in the first Battlefield Dimension and was wondering, does BD has something like DD teleport pyramids??. Because so far, having to walk all the way to merchant while encumbred is really annoying.

Also, another thing, what's the level cap for characters? (If there's any at all).

PS.: Hi everyone!

As I recall (and it's been a while since I played it), you can leave items on the ground in the battlefield dimension without losing them, provided you recover them before the act changes. The battlefields are completely reset at the end of each act.

Indeed the items are safe, as long as you don't pass to the next chapter.
So, there's no way to teleport like in DD???
