I guess it depends on your playing style

Very much so. While I ended up playing through with a fighter, a mage and a survivor, I played the fighter initially and enjoyed it the most. That whirl attack is by -far- the best special ability.

Anyway, with the fighter, I went for skills like poison weapon, stun and deathblow.... then I just waded in to crowds of enemies, let them surround me, and whirl attacked. If the initial damage didn't kill them, the poison weapon or the deathblow did.

I wasn't implying anything, honest. I just found some of the comments in this thread surprising as I really did find the game pretty easy, with just a few exceptions.
