ok. The game has gotten ridiculous. How do you defeat Josephine. I have tried everything. (Level 39 warrior). I have tried freeze, scorpions, fireballs, lightning, and just hitting her which you cant do because she goes into that magical ball.

Scorpions and Freeze should actually work well. She does become visible when her spell (that ball) fails periodically, so if you have scorpions around then, they'll keep her occupied. Meanwhile, some good shots of Freeze should halt her, but she has a high resistance to all magic. Keep trying.

I send in 12 scorpions and wait for her to lose her magical shield. She never does. I stand next to her invisible. As soon as I come visible again, she kills me almost instantly with those spikes. This is really unfair

You "send in"--are you in her vicinity with the scorpions? You want to be in the same general area so you can use Freeze on her when the scorpions are around.

Sorry, but this has always worked for me. You could try invisibility on yourself at the same time.

Hell spikes also works, though you should only use it if you have planty of potions.

She is the toughest boss in the game, bar none, much harder to kill that the demon of lies when you meet her again in the swamp, once you have become divine
