help me with statuette?

I started DD and I found the cat statuette. My comp crashed and I had to reload everything onto it includig the operating system. I can't find the statuette in the new game that I started. Does anyone know where to find it?

Like most loot, it's random.

Yes, DD is *extremely* random in its loot placement. Even important objects, when you find them, will often have variable positive effects. I've seen one amulet go anywhere from literally no benefits to 7 benefits, in all.

The random factor on a chest/body becomes fixed when you enter a room. So per comments I've read on Larian's site, should you want to keep loading and reolading for the best loot, be sure you do so while standing outside that room, and before you click on it.
