Point and CLick or 3D?

Alrighty, now with Diablo 3 a thought in existance, which it prolly has been for a while, curious what you think the game should be like.

The classic point and click style dungeon crawl, or a 3D Action RPG a little more like Dungeon Siege 2 per se; what do you all think it should be?

Me personally, I love the simplicity of point and click and how addicting diablo 2 made it with just that, so I go for that. However, if they added say a jump in the game, for puzzles and such, even with point and click that'd be pretty awesome.

So, whatcha all think it should be, P&C or 3D?

it has to be point and click, anything else would ruin the Diablo series style of gaming.

I would prefer the old point and click -system. The reasons are that firstly because the D1 and D2 were such, so the third one should also be, and due the fact that 3D will surely need a lots of power from computer, which I do not have. I can not run most todays 3D games in my comp, since those needs a lot of power from computer.

But, even though I want it to be the old, I can say almost say for sure that it's going to be 3D, since that's the trend today. Everything must be 3D.

I'm all in for the point and click. Anything else is just not Diablo.

I think that point and click would be the best and most recognized option. I'm not too worried though as Blizzard has never let us down (Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft). Either way, point and click or 3D, I'm sure DIII is going to be a great installment to the Diablo franchise.

Hopefully they even decide to make it, as it is still a rumor. I look forward to that decision.

I think it will be Point and Click as anything else just isnt diablo as mentioned above.

Although Im not so sure they will make it as Im still waiting for a starcraft 2

seriously, I despise 3d, I kick butt at them, but they are lame, my processor has to be 50 billion gigahertz and my 3dfx videocard has to have 10 trillion gigs of seperate memory? I'll take a 2d game any day...... they are classics but it doesn't mean they have to be obsolete, I prefer them. anyway has anyone seen
this diablo III box cover? I don't know if it's fake or prototype or what looks like tal rasha on the font.

Considering that diablo 3 has not been announced I'd say that the cover is fake, also because it looks like it was photoshopped by a 6 year old.

I'm sorry Razimus, but I must agree with the above.
As for the 3D or Point&Click, can anyone mention any "good" games made recently which is not 3D but Point&Click?? I can not think any, and as I said before, it seems to be trend today that everything must be 3D: RPGs, RTS, Adventures...

Dragonshard is point and click.
Xmen Legends 2 is a decent version, though not the best game.

meh, a couple of examples.

Also, next time, firelighter, you post something that says the "image is bad," please word it a bit more carefully as not to offend people. Thank you.

Just to make sure, this was aimed to me?
If so, firstly I apologize if it was offending.

Secondly, as FireLighter already mentioned, since there is no official word that D3 is under working, it's quite obvious that there wont be any official images of the cover either. Also, the image wasn't so good in quality, and if it actually was official, the I think it would have been alot better.

The one thing that Blizard is known best for is inovation. I predict that DIII will be a somewhat revolutionary style of gaming, or it wont be published. Comparing it to standards of today is really pointless as Bliz is known best for setting standards, not following them.
