Diablo III rumors: it will be comin' out

Well, i think that Diablo II is one of the best hack n' slash RPGs ever. However, there are other games that could give it a run for its money in the genre, such as Oblivion and NWN

Not really. Both oblivion and NWN aren't hack and slash RPG's. Granted, they feature a lot of this, but they are still normal RPG's due to what else they feature.

A Hack and Slash RPG that can give it a run for it's money might be Titan Quest. Very similar game, a lot of better and cooler things in it, but also a lot of downsides. And so far, I'd say Titan Quest and Diablo 2 are equal in quality and gameplay value. This is Including Lord of Destruction and Immortal Throne of course.

there is a 50/50 posibliity that it could create it but i wont be inpressed i am currently playing diablo because of sheer boredom and i dont think its helping i mean hack and slash games are a good time saver for about 3 mins then u either get bored or adictive. but blizzard is renowned for hack and slash so the only problem for bliz in the theory of diablo 3 is the story line but if they just improve the graphics, add a charicter creation system, and probebley make sure a**holes on the battle net are forced to play legit and that could very well help its chances

(if ure on this form and reading this right now take a couple of pointers from what i say and dont screw up)
