question about ignore tg defence

Can anyone plz help me clear up the meaning of the mod ignore target defence. Does it mean Ill hit the target 95% of the time regardless of its def and my AR. Somehow this just seems overpowered. I have a lvl 43 tesladin now which is a build that normally has problems with AR (no problems with dmg though >) So I just got an itd scepter and seem to be hitting things well. Sry if this is a noob question.

The chance to hit is dependant both on the relationship between AR and DR and the relationship between levels. The formulae is like this:

AR / (AR + DR) * 2 * your level / (your level + monster level)

Ignore target defence will make enemy defence count as zero, but it will not work against bosses.

So yes, it's a powerfull mod.

Thanks, man. I guess Ill have to get conviction to deal with the bosses and have a backup combo (with vengeance) against those meddling light immunes
