this has been bothering me for a while and i was wondering because i couldnt figure it out (i dont figure most things out lol ) but how do u go from nightmare to normal because i got this level 50 cold sorceress and i want to go back to normal and help the noobs go thru some quests without getting themselves killed 500times and losing all their gold lol

You cannot enter a Normal game without knowing its exact name when you have come to Nm or Hell. This makes sure that no high level player can come in and ruin the game for low level players. If you want to help some friends with some quests you they have to tell you the name of the game so that you can manually type it in where you type the game name to join or alternavely you can create it but keep in mind that you might have completed the quests that they want to complete so this might not be a good idea...

umm i was wondering cuz i got a level 53 cold sorc. does cold mastery help in any way?

yes it does. It decreases your enemies cold res meaning that they take more cold damage and some monsters that are just immune (resistance of about 105%) can become killable by your cold spells IIRC, I*m not sure about the killing immunes bit though but I think that it should work that way...
