| @Aemmon: Since you plan to solo your sorc you have to go dual elements. The Meteorb is a very powerful and easy-to-play built which does not require godly equipment to be efficient, but there are other options as well. Meteor/Blizzard works fine too. Since you max out Fireball anyway due to the synergies, you can also use your Fireball instead of Meteor - I often do that.
Another one of my favorites is the FO/CL build. It is as strong as the Meteorb, but more dependent on +skill items. You will find a guide to this build in the character builds thread that is a sticky in this forum.
