Palidin Builds

I was just wondering what are good builds for palidins.

You can never go wrong with an Zealot. They are easy to make and easy to use. Hammerdins are better though, but they are harder to use and harder to build.

or you can go with a foher, (fist of the heavens pali) not hard to make you just need foh (duh) holy lighting, holy bolt and conviction. and lots of resist and absorb gear.

I have a lvl 70 something Defiant with 20 points in defiance and holy shield and vengeance, but you could probably use zeal instead. He plays kind of slow since his damage doesn't get too high, but his defence becomes so great that every monster except bosses have a 5% chance of hitting and most of those are blocked by his shield. Great build if you're looking for something a bit different from the crowd.

or if ur feeling very daring go for a medic, using meditate and cleance while mastering prayer and both auras, u could even go for holy bolt for instant healing

The current cookie cutter build on bnet is the hammerdin. I second Demortis' suggestion of a cleric, if you play online with others. I am leveling up a cleric/avenger right now. I play in a party with 3 sorcs (each specializing in a single tree). My most used skills are conviction, holy bolt, meditation, vengeance and zeal. I've had alot of fun with this build and the sorcs I play with absolutely destroy any monsters in our path when I have conviction turned on. Try googling "diablo 2 paladin guides", you're bound to find some good info.

My personal favourite build for a Paladin is full Fanatism with Zeal, get the best two handed weapon and beat the living snot out of everyone.

with a zealer its better to have a fast 1handed weapon and a shield with lots of res. pali shields already have some res u just need to find 1 with oh id say 4-5 socs and put p dimonds in them. you get amazing res.
