| | | How to get to act 5?
After installing LoD (p. 1.10) I converted one of my char (barb. lev. 35) to do act5. He was in act.2 NM. If I open the game Normal he is in the amazon encampment. how do I get to Act.5? Do I have to pass again through Mephisto, to acces Caos Sanctuary, kill Diablo again.
And in future to do Baal runs do I still have to go through all this or there is some short track (as between the firs 3 acts)? |

| | | What waypoints do you have in Normal? You will need to kill Diablo again I am sure, otherwise the portal to act 5 will not open, but if you have WPs in act 4 you can go directly to Chaos Sanctuary.

| | | you have to go to act 4, speak to tyrael(sp?), and then he will open the portal to act 5 for you. you do not need to kill diablo AGAIN(if you haven't killed him in a previus sessin, you must kill him)

| | | I may be reading your question wrong, but are you aware that you can use the wp's to move directly from act to act? If you activate/click on a waypoint, you will be shown a list of all the wp's in that act (with one's you have activated being highlighted). There are tabs at the top of this window that allow you to choose between the acts that you have already visited. You do not need to use Warriv to move between acts 1 and 2 or use Meshif for moving between acts 2 and 3. I know some people (myself included) do/did not pick up on this when they start playing D2. You do still need Warriv to initially take you to act 2, warriv for act 3 the first time. Like Grimar said, once you have completed the 3rd quest in act 4, speaking with Tyrael will activate a portal to taking you to act 5. |
