| | | Hammerdin? Could somebody help me with a viable pvp hammerdin? I tried making one myself, but after calculations i only ended up with some 4k max damage. I've seen some builds with 10k hammers. Also what equipment also be best?
Thanks.

| | | I have never played PvP, but my PvM Hammerdin has 8k damage at level 84. Besides hammer, blessed aim and vigor, you should also use the concentration aura, since it's the only one that adds to your hammer damage. Since my Hammerdin is focused on magic find, it has some odd equipment choices, so you may have to adjust for your needs. Wizardspike is a must, since you need to get up to 120% faster cast rate. That way you have lots of hammers flying very quickly. I also use HoZ, Enigma, Shako, Goldwrap, Magefist, Tearhaunch and Natures peace (just because I hate resurrecting monsters and like beating up on Nihlathak...).
I think you should focus on getting more skill levels, especially in Combat since + to skills doesn't work on synergies. That way you will increase your damage even further. I think the 120% faster cast rate cutoff is the best option, since I think the next one is over 200% which restricts your equipment choices. The HoZ and Wizardspike also give you 125% resist all which should help keep you alive against elementalist attackers.

| | | I haven't played a hammerdin so far, but the build Silur has seems like a really good build although 10k seems a quite impossible achivement if you don't have your whole inv full with +combat charms....

| | | Thanks Silur.
My previous Hammerdin was based around a similar skill tree, though I used redemption aura more then concentration. I suppose that I'll have to find alot more + skills charms. Also do you think it would be worth getting a Guardian Angel for this build?

Personally I survive just fine with 75%. I would go for more skills, faster cast rate or magic damage reduction instead, but it's highly dependent on your playing style. I also use Holy Shield since there is little else interesting to put points in when you've maxed everything else.

| | | The Constricting ring was never enabled in the final game, it existed only in beta. Since you want +skills, you could use a SoJ or even two.

| | | Sojs have gotten cheap nowadays right? i would think BK wedding rings are better. it gives life+ on char lvl my zealot has one, but the only thing sojs are good for any more is getting the d clone unless u want more mana and that crappy 1+skill, pre-patch i found every char using them. it just wasnt worth getting anymore. but con rings would be nice though.
