How can one extract music from Diablo 2 files? Ya know, the d2music.mpq...

You need an mpq viewer/extractor. Just do a google for it and you should be bale to find it easily.... then it's just to extract the sound files and listen to them. Don't know what format they are in but it's most probably not something compressed so my uess is wav files....

It is very difficult to find any MPQ-viewer/decoder/extractor... Even more difficult to find a working one! So far, I found two versions on the net. One is 150 kb big and is a corrupted zip file, the second is 235 kb big and is a corrupted zip file as well... help? does anyone have it on their hdd?

I downloaded all diablo 2 music from the blizzard ftp server.
