Bug with hireling???

I installed LoD and patched 1.10. Then converted my lv. 35 barb.. He was in NM act 2, he took a defensive mercenary (cold aura) then went to normal to do act. 5 and finish the game, but I found that in normal (Mephisto run) he doesn't have the cold aura, but another one.
It's that normal, does the cold aura only work on NM diff.?

This sounds weird. Any merc should always keep the same aura regardless of where you play him. Sounds buggy to me.

The holy freeze aura is only available to the nightmare act 2 merc (defensive iirc), but it should work in any difficulty. I would just hire a new merc in NM act 2 with the holy freeze aura.
