Halaster's domain is the Undermountain. By the sound of him in both the Forgotten Realms campaign setting and Ed Greenwood's book 'Elminster in Hell,' he sounds as if he'll just make people as insane as he is, if not dead.

Yes, to be an insane person, Halaster i quite powerfull. IMO, he didn't appear as insane in Elminster in hell as I would have imagined him. Too bad he lost btw, hate to see that ***** simbul rescue Elminster

Any city in the Underdark would be cool with me. Bash some mind flayers, slave gladiator arenas, the good life.

I realise you are not being serious... however I really don't think jokes about sexual assault, regardless the nature, are a laughing matter...

Back on topic, I vote for Suldanesselar. It would be my ideal, a reasonably big place in the wilds..

Menzoberranzan, or maybe "Silverymoon" (what a lame name for a city). Some place with lots of magic - elves help, too!

Eh, Suldanesselar's nice, but I think they may have wiped it off the map for 3rd edition - I couldn't find it in the main book-thing. The wilderness over-rated, anyhow.

Of course not, I wholeheartedly agree, it was just a bad joke based on the fact that in drow society, all reproduction happen by raping, which, though fictional is not something to laugh about at all.

Note too, that if there was indeed a place called underdark (in the real world), and that drows did live there, I would never say such a thing regardless.

I would live in Mithral Hall.

Mithral Hall would be the place. I would be trained by Drizzt (he's so cool) then I would hire myself off as a soldier for hire.
